Dual study: start work straight away with the DHBW
Do a standard degree or work and earn money? You don't have to choose. Just do both. If you study for a practice-focussed qualification at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University, theory and practice are closely and synergistically linked. You will acquire sound knowledge on campus and can then apply this directly in your everyday working life during your practical phase with a corporate partner.
Why dual study? The strengths at a glance
With a dual course of study at the DHBW, you combine an academic university degree with professional experience at a company. This gives you a number of advantages:
Practical placements
During practical placements at one of our corporate partner companies located all over Germany you will gain important experience which will serve you well in your working life.
Practice-led teaching
Alongside full-time lecturers, external lecturers from within companies ensure that the current requirements of the labour market are taken into account in the theory.
Earn money
Study and work at the same time. This means that you will receive a salary from the corporate partner company throughout your course of study.
Excellent job prospects
Join the job market straight away and look forward to promising prospects for the future. The employability rate after graduation is approx. 90%.
