Research Profile
Research, innovation and transfer at the DHBW Mannheim
Practice oriented production and transfer of knowledge is the DHBW Mannheim’s main research focus, which adds value to teaching as well as to the regional economy.
The DHBW Mannheim is active in cooperative research projects with the Dual Partners as well as third-party funded research projects with other universities and research institutions on a regional, national, and international level. Hence, the inclusion of state-of-the-art research findings in the lectures is unique insofar as they are immediately transferable via the students into the industrial and service sector. Further benefits of the close institutionalised relationship with the Dual Partners include networking options, a cooperative knowledge basis, and a direct relevance between teaching and day-to-day practice.
